AWANA: BELONG - BELIEVE - BECOME

Our Vision

Reaching kids with the gospel, and engaging them in long-term discipleship.

Helping kids belong to a loving community, believe God’s word, and become followers of Jesus.

BELONG

We believe that every child belongs . This is our starting point. You don't have to believe before you belong. If you are here, we welcome you. We are excited you want to be connected. AWANA is a great point of belonging and connecting.

BELIEVE

When kids participate in AWANA, they learn to believe—not just in themselves, but in a God who loves them deeply and personally.  In a world full of uncertainty, AWANA gives kids the hope and assurance that comes from believing in something—and Someone—greater than themselves.

BECOME

When kids participate in AWANA, they grow into confident, faith-filled young people who know they are loved by God. As they learn about God, ask deep questions, and serve others, they become more compassionate, courageous, and Christ-centered. AWANA is more than a program—it’s a place where kids become the people God created them to be.

What is AWANA?

When kids participate in AWANA, they grow into confident, faith-filled young people who know they are loved by God. Through fun games, engaging Bible lessons, and meaningful friendships, children don’t just learn about Jesus—they begin to follow Him. AWANA helps kids become grounded in Scripture, develop godly character, and discover how to live out their faith in everyday life. As they memorize Bible verses, ask deep questions, and serve others, they become more compassionate, courageous, and Christ-centered. AWANA is more than a program—it’s a place where kids become the people God created them to be.

How an evening runs at AWANA:

There are three (3) distinct segments during AWANA:

  • Handbook Time
  • Games Time
  • Counsel Time

At Handbook Time, Clubbers recite Sections from their handbooks. The handbooks contain selections of Bible verses and a variety of activities.

During Games Time, a Clubber is placed on one of four teams (red, blue, green or yellow).  Clubbers enjoy fun and points are awarded to teams for achievement.

Counsel Time is an exciting portion of the evening.  During this time, the club Director or another individual tells a story or teaches a practical lesson from the Bible.  Counsel Time also includes quizzes and singing.
